Amber Rewards Program
Since opening our doors in 2002, the owners of Amber Quill Press, Amber Heat, and Amber Allure have always offered you, our valued readers, a loyalty program to show our appreciation for your business. Now, we are pleased to introduce our newest Amber Rewards Program!
Here's how it works...
Every dollar you spend on our website earns one Amber Reward point. When you accumulate ten points, you receive $1 off your next purchase! ***
Your Rewards account is maintained on your Account Profile Page. There, you'll see the heading, "Rewards Details," immediately beneath your name and email address. Points earned immediately after a purchase appear as "Pending." Within a few minutes (fifteen at most), those points will shift to "Active" and are eligible to be applied toward a purchase.
To use your Reward points, select your book/s and follow the prompts for our purchase process until you reach the order page. There, you'll find a drop-down box in the "Payment Information" section. Select "Reward Points." The page will refresh with the addition of the item, "Available Points." Type the number of points you want applied to your purchase in the empty field and click "Apply."
If you have sufficient points to pay for your entire order, "No Payment Due" will appear in the field and you can finalize your order.
If you have not acquired sufficient points to pay for your entire order, a "split payment" option will be offered to you. In this case, click the "split payment" link that has appeared on the order page. Type in the dollar amount or Gift Certificate number you'd like to apply to complete your order total and click "Apply." The screen updates to confirm the applied payment. After you've selected all the payment sources you would like to use, click "Place Your Order" and complete the purchase process. (Click here for details regarding the "Split Payment" process.)
Reward points accumulated during the purchase process are identified on the order form as "Points Earned." Please note that if you've applied previously acquired Reward points toward the purchase, you earn new points based on the discounted order total.
After spending and/or garnering new Reward points, your Rewards account will be automatically updated on your Account Profile Page. There is no expiration date for your Reward points.
Customers who had an "active" account with our former Amber Rewards program -- they had earned one or more points toward an Amber Reward -- were contacted and offered a Reward book as our thanks for being an Amber Quill Press customer. With this action, their accounts were closed and they were directed to our new program. If you didn't hear from us and think you qualify for this "consolation" Reward, please contact Customer Service:
*** Please note that points are earned for every whole dollar spent. Fractions of dollars (cents) do not generate points. A minimum of ten points is necessary to receive a discount.
