...Nolan paid the bartender and closed his fingers around the glass of stout. He took a large swallow and continued to scope out the other patrons. Some eyed him back, some with obvious interest. He saw one he kind of liked the look of at the far end of the bar and started in that direction when he stopped in his tracks.
Leo.
He wasn’t the only one with a fake ID.
Nolan swallowed, staring at the man who now stood only a few feet from where Nolan stood. Leo was engaged in conversation with a blonde woman and hadn’t yet noticed Nolan. His eyes were lined with black kohl and it looked to Nolan as though he wore mascara. His lips were bare and sensual, turned up just a bit at the corners. He lifted a hand to brush his dark hair out of his eyes and Nolan noticed silver rings on almost every finger. Fingers painted with deep purple nail polish.
Nolan’s feet seemed glued to the floor. He shouldn’t be standing here. He should be running out of the club before Leo noticed him. No one in Sutter’s Bay was supposed to know he was gay. But this was Leo. God, the idea of learning about gay sex from Leo of all guys was almost too thrilling.
Leo suddenly glanced his way, his eyes widening. “Nolan?”
He almost looked behind him as though Leo had to be talking to someone else. But of course that wasn’t true. What the hell was wrong with him?
“Hi, Leo.”
Leo spoke softly to the blonde girl, who looked back at Nolan curiously. She smiled, nodded, and disappeared through the crowd. Leo walked over to stand just in front of Nolan.
“Wow, I’m really surprised to see you here,” Leo said. He glanced at Nolan’s beer. Then his gaze rose to meet Nolan’s. “What—”
Nolan leaned forward and pressed his lips to Leo’s before he lost his nerve. Leo jumped a little, obviously startled by the bold move, but he didn’t move away. In fact, his hands moved around Nolan to curve over Nolan’s ass and bring their bodies closer. And then Leo took over the kiss, becoming the aggressor as his tongue pushed into Nolan’s mouth.
More than a couple of times Nolan had kissed his high school girlfriend. He’d thought kissing pleasant enough. Even with a girl he had no real desire to sleep with. But it had never been like this. Never been so…erotic. He whimpered in the back of his throat and tried to climb Leo.
Leo broke the kiss, shaking his head. “We’re going to get kicked out if you keep that up.”
Nolan blinked, feeling heat infuse his face. Geez, he was making out with a guy right in the middle of the club. And not just any guy. But a guy from Sutter’s Bay.
“I’m sorry,” Nolan said.
Leo smiled. “Well, don’t be. I’m not. I just think we should take this somewhere else.”
“Somewhere else?”
“Outside.” He grabbed the drink out of Nolan’s hand and wrinkled his nose. “Guinness? Gross.” Leo set it on a nearby table, not seeming to care at all about the patrons sitting there, and wrapped a hand around Nolan’s upper arm. “Come on.”
Nolan didn’t struggle as Leo pretty much dragged him through the crowded club and out the door past the bouncer. Considering how hard his dick was, leaving was probably a good idea...
